GEDON Executive is seeking an experienced and ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading contractor specializing in high-quality commercial fit-out projects across Ireland. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be instrumental in ensuring meticulous cost control, contractual precision, and profitable delivery. You will take lead responsibility for projects from pre-construction through to final account, contributing directly to the company's growth and reputation.
Key Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership: Take lead responsibility for all quantity surveying aspects of commercial fit-out projects.

Cost Management: Prepare comprehensive cost plans, budgets, and forecasts. Implement robust cost control measures to ensure projects are delivered within budget.

Contract Administration: Administer complex contracts, including procurement, tendering, and the diligent valuation and negotiation of variations and claims.

Risk Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Reporting: Prepare accurate and insightful commercial reports, cost value reconciliations, and financial statements for internal and client stakeholders.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise effectively with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and project managers.

Mentorship: Mentor and support junior members of the commercial team, contributing to their professional development.
What You'll Bring

Extensive Experience: Proven experience (typically 7+ years) as a Quantity Surveyor within the Irish construction market.
