What They Are Looking For
Our client is seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join their Dublin-based commercial team. The role sits within the core project delivery function and reports to a Senior Commercial Manager or Commercial Director, depending on project scale.
This position has been created due to sustained growth and a strong pipeline of secured work. The successful candidate will take ownership of the commercial management of mechanical and electrical packages, supporting projects from pre-contract through delivery and final account.
This role will suit a commercially confident QS with strong building services experience, capable of operating autonomously while contributing to broader commercial strategy and supporting junior team members where required.

Responsibilities

Full commercial management of mechanical and electrical packages

Preparation and control of project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports

Managing CVRs and monthly commercial reporting

Procurement strategy, tendering, and appointment of subcontractors

Contract administration and management of variations and change control

Risk identification, mitigation, and commercial governance

Preparation, negotiation, and agreement of interim valuations and final accounts

Liaising closely with project teams, design consultants, and clients

Supporting continuous improvement of commercial systems and processes
Criteria for the Role

Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or similar
-
5+ years’ experience in an MEP / building services contractor environment

Proven experience managing mechanical and electrical packages

Strong contractual and commercial awareness

Experience working on large-scale or technically complex projects

Confident stakeholder management and communication skills

Ability to operate autonomously while contributing to wider team objectives
What’s On Offer
