What They Are Looking For
Our client is seeking an experienced Cost Manager to join their Irish operations. The role sits within the project and cost management team and reports directly to an Associate Director or Director, depending on project scope.
This position has been created due to sustained growth and an expanding client base. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering cost management services across the full project lifecycle, acting as a trusted advisor to clients and supporting the commercial success of major schemes.
This role will suit a cost professional who enjoys client-facing responsibility, values technical excellence, and is looking to progress toward Senior Cost Manager or Associate Director level.

Responsibilities

Delivering full pre- and post-contract cost management services

Preparation of cost plans, estimates, and budgets

Value engineering and cost advice throughout the design process

Procurement advice and tender management

Cost reporting, forecasting, and cash flow management

Managing change control and risk management processes

Preparation and agreement of final accounts

Client-facing advisory and stakeholder management

Supporting junior team members where required
Criteria for the Role
-
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

4–7+ years’ experience in a consultancy or client-side cost management role

Experience delivering projects across multiple sectors

Strong technical and commercial awareness

Confident client-facing and stakeholder management skills

Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

Professional accreditation (RICS / SCSI) preferred but not essential
