Job Description
About Our Client
We are partnered with a leading specialist Mechanical & Electrical contractor operating at the highest end of the technical construction market. The business is deeply embedded in the delivery of complex, mission-critical environments and has a long-standing presence across major advanced manufacturing and high-tech infrastructure projects in Ireland.
Their project portfolio includes large-scale, highly regulated M&E installations requiring exceptional precision, data accuracy, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams. With ongoing works across Dublin and Kildare, the organisation continues to invest in strengthening its on-site commercial and technical capability to support long-term project delivery.
As a specialist contractor with mature systems and strong governance, they offer commercially minded professionals hands-on exposure to some of Ireland’s most technically demanding construction environments.
What They Are Looking For
The business is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its on-site commercial team, working closely with the Commercial Manager on a major semiconductor project. The position offers a blended scope, incorporating elements of Quantity Surveying, Engineering, and Project Management. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in live measurement, commercial reporting, subcontractor management, and data-driven cost control, operating within a fast-paced, highly technical environment.
This role will suit a technically capable professional with 1–5 years’ experience who is confident working with digital tools, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives on close collaboration with site and engineering teams.
Why This Role Is Unique (Impact & Influence)
This is a rare opportunity to work directly on a major semiconductor facility, gaining exposure to one of the most specialised construction sectors in the market. The role offers deep technical development, close mentorship from senior commercial leadership, and long-term career value in a sector where experienced professionals are in high demand.
