Job Description
About the Business
Our client is a highly established and respected cost management and commercial advisory consultancy with a strong presence across the Australian construction and property market. Operating nationally, the business is known for partnering with sophisticated private and institutional clients on complex, high-value developments across multiple asset classes.
With a reputation built on technical excellence, trusted client relationships, and long-term strategic thinking, the business is now entering a new phase of growth. As part of this evolution, they are seeking a senior leader to play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction, performance, and capability of the Brisbane operation.
The Opportunity
This is a true Director-level appointment with full P&L responsibility and accountability for the commercial performance of the Brisbane business. You will operate as a senior leader within the national structure, owning end-to-end client engagement while driving sustainable growth through new business, strategic partnerships, and service-line expansion.
The role goes well beyond project delivery. You will be instrumental in shaping business strategy, developing market-facing propositions, and introducing new client systems, tools, intellectual property and ways of working that enhance value, differentiation, and scalability.
Why This Role Is Different
This opportunity is designed for a commercially minded leader who wants genuine influence. You will sit at the intersection of strategy, operations, and client leadership — with the autonomy to build, innovate, and leave a lasting mark on the business.
You will have the platform to grow a high-performing team, deepen key client relationships, and directly influence how the consultancy operates, delivers, and competes in the market. For the right individual, this is a pathway to long-term executive leadership and equity-style influence.
