Operating across commercial fit-out, high-end residential and specialist interiors, the company delivers bespoke joinery and full fit-out packages on projects typically ranging up to £10m in value. The Opportunity

The business is seeking an experienced Joinery Estimator to join its Greater London team, playing a key role within the pre-construction function. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-end projects, supporting the preparation of accurate, competitive and commercially robust tenders.

You will work closely with directors, project teams and clients, contributing to bid strategy, cost planning and value engineering while ensuring tenders are aligned with both client expectations and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for bespoke joinery and fit-out packages up to £10m.

• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation to fully understand project scope.

• Carry out quantity take-offs and build up rates for labour, materials and subcontract packages.

• Obtain and analyse quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Support the preparation and submission of tender documents and pricing breakdowns.

• Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving proposals.

• Work closely with design and delivery teams to ensure alignment from tender through to project handover.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market rates, materials and supply chain capacity.

• Attend tender meetings, site visits and client discussions where required.

Required Experience & Background

• Proven experience as an Estimator within joinery, fit-out or interiors.

• Strong understanding of bespoke joinery, manufacturing processes and installation methods.

• Experience pricing projects within the £1m–£10m range.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and design information.

• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

• Comfortable working within fast-paced tendering environments.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• Background in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, Construction or a related discipline.

• Strong numerical and analytical capability.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office tools.

• Organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple tenders simultaneously.
