GEDON Executive is seeking a highly experienced and commercially astute Regional Commercial Manager to join a leading construction firm in Dublin. This is a pivotal, senior leadership role for a proven professional ready to drive the financial performance and strategic growth of multiple projects across the region.
As a Regional Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of a portfolio of projects. You will provide strategic guidance to project teams, ensure profitable delivery, and act as a key figure in the company's senior management, influencing business strategy and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership: Oversee the commercial function for all projects within your region, ensuring commercial excellence and profitability.

Strategic Planning: Contribute to the strategic growth of the business, identifying new market opportunities and improving commercial processes.

Financial Management: Take full responsibility for regional financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to senior leadership.

Contract Administration: Provide high-level guidance on all contractual matters, including claims, variations, and dispute resolution.

Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Managers, fostering a high-performance culture.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, partners, and subcontractors.
What You'll Bring

Extensive Experience: Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in a senior commercial role, such as Commercial Manager or Regional Commercial Manager, within the Irish construction industry.

Leadership Acumen: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams.

Commercial Prowess: Exceptional commercial awareness and financial management abilities.

Contractual Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of various standard forms of construction contracts.

Qualifications: A relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field. Professional accreditation (e.g., SCSI, RICS) is highly desirable.
